ASIA IN ASIA BOX SET AND 40TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR COMING
Supergroup ASIA will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the band’s multiplatinum Geffen debut. It will be ASIA’s first tour since 2019 and will feature original members Carl Palmer (drums, percussion), Geoff Downes (keyboards, background vocals), as well as Billy Sherwood (bass, background vocals), and Marc Bonilla (lead vocals, guitar).

Of all the albums restored on Mike Ragogna’s four CD set California Chronicles, its third disc containing his solo album Writer’s Block is the most complicated. Not only does it feature the previously unreleased Invisible World followup, but its theme actually was based on his affliction, it also being an overall nod to the songwriters covered on the album.

TRAFFICBEAT RELEASES CALIFORNIA CHRONICLES BY MIKE RAGOGNA – PART TWO
Mike Ragogna’s California Chronicles includes a restoration of the album Invisible World as its second disc and was recorded before disc three’s Writer’s Block, although only a variation of the project was later released. It was pressed up two years after Writer’s Block as the truncated Valentine’s Day (named after a Ragogna original) due to what the artist calls “overthinking.”
