Your Invitation To Ringo Starr’s Birthday Party!

With the press release announcing, “All are welcome,” it looks like we’re invited to Ringo Starr’s birthday party this year! So if you’re in Hollywood on Sunday, July 7, you may want to drop in on the Capitol Tower for Ringo’s 11th annual Peace & Love birthday celebration. Who’ll be there, you ask? Why, former Beatle Ringo Starr, of course, his wife Barbara Starkey, David Lynch, Sheila E., Edgar Winter, Nils Lofgren, T-Bone Burnett, Jim Keltner, Don Was, Greg Bissonette, Benmont Tench, Richard Lewis, Ed Begley Jr., and more.

Beginning around 11:20 am in front of Capitol Records (1750 N. Vine Street), there’ll be performances featuring The Jacks, Ben Kyle of Romantica and Sara Watkins, and the students of the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus. At noon, Ringo will lead everyone in a “Peace & Love” moment after which cake will be presented to the former Beatle.
