Viv And The Revival Brings The Introduction

VIV AND THE REVIVAL ANNOUNCE THE DIGITAL RELEASE OF HIS REPUBLIC RECORDS DEBUT EP THE INTRODUCTION TODAY

FIRST SINGLE “I WANT IT” MAKING WAVES NOW

Philadelphia’s own VIV AND THE REVIVAL has released the debut Republic Records EP, THE INTRODUCTION, on iTunes, Spotify and all digital retailers today. The EP is preceded by VIV’s buzzing and blazing single, “I Want It.”

“I Want It” is quickly gaining steam due to a series of high-profile placements and early enthusiasm from none other than Ryan Seacrest. With its instantly hummable guitar riff and irresistible refrain, the track currently fuels the Verizon “Faces” commercial, which first debuted on New Year’s Eve. It’s the perfect introduction to VIV’s sound and his revolutionary rock ‘n’ roll vibe.

Moreover, Seacrest exclaimed, “VIV’s hypnotic voice blends over mid-tempo beats, which draws out a feel-good rebellious vibe”. Other critical acclaim continues to mount as well. PopCrush called VIV, “A citizen of the world-style artist who has a penchant for mixing stadium-sized arena rock riffing with classic pop melody”, while Joonbug.com described him as “simply electric”.

The record features five tracks of guitar-driven rock bolstered by the singer’s dynamic voice and inimitable swagger.

In 2011, VIV released his independent 2011 EP, And Then The World Part 1, which yielded numerous high-profile TV placements. With its incendiary lick and spirited energy, “Fire” fueled a prominent Bud Lite spot that ran during the 2012 Summer Olympics. Other placements followed including The Voice in the United States, Australia, and England as well as numerous shows on NBC, MTV, ESPN, TeenNick, and more. Republic Records signed him in 2014. Now, The Introduction kicks everything off with a bang…
