The Revivalists Add Voodoo Music + Arts Fest To Tour

THE REVIVALISTS ANNOUNCE NEW YEARS EVE AT GEORGIA THEATRE AND EXPAND FALL TOUR

NEW DATES INCLUDE VOODOO MUSIC + ARTS FEST, OLD ROCK HOUSE IN ST. LOUIS,
IRVING PLAZA IN NYC, & JEFFERSON THEATRE IN CHARLOTTESVILLE

WORLD CAFE & WXPN FREE AT NOON IN NOVEMBER

“The Revivalists have managed to craft a genre-hopping sound all their own–one that translates all too well during live performances.”
– Nylon Guys

“As evidence in ‘Navigate Below,’ there’s a strong rock sensibility, teased out by the growls of lead singer David Shaw. Renowned for its live performances, The Revivalists showcase an uncanny ability to genre-blend and create a sound that at once calls back to the past and navigates its own distinct path.”
– WNYC Soundcheck

Road-warriors The Revivalists are proud to announce another round of tour dates through the end of the year, including a repeat appearance at Voodoo Music + Arts Festival in their Big Easy home-turf and New Years Eve at the iconic Georgia Theatre in Athens. Additional new dates also include November performances at Old Rock House in St. Louis, the TLA in Philly, Irving Plaza in NYC and the Jefferson Theatre in Charlottesville.

The Revivalists will be featured on World Cafe with David Dye in November and will also perform as a part of WXPN’s Free At Noon series. The septet recently stopped by WNYC’s Soundcheck and KBCO for a Studio C Session to showcase their album, City of Sound, released by Wind-up Records with eight live bonus tracks in March during Mardi Gras. The Revivalists have been touring non-stop the last few years, dominating the festival circuit again this year with stops at Peach Fest, Jazz Aspen, Lockn’, Phases of the Moon and more.

The band’s monumental performance at Jazzfest in their hometown of New Orleans was captured by Rolling Stone, Spin, American Songwriter, Relix and more. They’ve been featured by everyone from USA Today and Fuse TV to Paste, The Huffington Post and Daytrotter. The band appropriately also performed on the fourth and final season of HBO’s acclaimed drama series, Treme.
