Portugal. The Man’s “Evil Friends” Remix EP Arrives

PORTUGAL. THE MAN RELEASES REMIX EP;
JOINS GROUPLOVE ON HONDA CIVIC TOUR

Portland, OR-by-way-of-Wasilla, AK-based band Portugal. The Man today released a remix EP today featuring high-profile remixes of tracks off their last album, “EVIL FRIENDS.”

Produced by five-time GRAMMY® Award winner Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley, The Black Keys, Sparklehorse), “EVIL FRIENDS,” released last year, spawned the songs “Evil Friends,” “Purple Yellow Red and Blue,” and “Modern Jesus,” which are reworked on the EP by guest artists and remixers Danny Brown, Jake One, Passion Pit, Charli XCX, and Mike D of Beastie Boys.

In other news, Portugal. The Man kicked off the Honda Civic Tour with co-headliners Grouplove in Seattle this past Sunday night. The dates culminate in a final show at Rumsey Field in New York City’s Central Park on September 16. Each show on the tour will feature a Pop-Up Art Gallery, which will showcase both collaborative art and individual works from musicians and visual artists Hannah Hooper of Grouplove and John Gourley of Portugal.
