Guitar Prodigies Nels Cline and Julian Lage Announce Pre-Order on PledgeMusic

Nels Cline and Julian Lage have partnered with PledgeMusic for a pre-order for their debut album Room due on November 24th to interact with their fans during the record making process.

Nels Cline and Julian Lage are highly regarded as one of the most forward-thinking and original guitarists on the music scene today, Cline has played guitar with Wilco for a decade and his recordings have spanned jazz, rock, punk and experimental. Accolades include Jazz Times declaring Cline “the world’s most dangerous guitarist” and RollingStone proclaiming him to be one of 20 “new guitar gods” and one of the top 100 guitarists of all time. Beyond Wilco, he leads The Nels Cline Singers and has played or performed with Tim Berne, Jim Black, Yoko Ono, Vinny Golia, Julius Hemphill, Charlie Haden, Scott Amendola, Wadada Leo Smith, Lydia Lunch and Thurston Moore.

Julian Lage has toured and recorded with Gary Burton, Jim Hall, Fred Hersch, Bela Fleck, Mark O’Connor, and many more. Originally from the Bay Area, Julian has released two critically acclaimed albums as a leader including Sounding Point and Gladwell. Sounding Point was nominated for a Grammy Award and DownBeat Magazine recently named Julian a “Rising Star Guitar” winner.
