Jamie Scott, the hit songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, released today the piano ballad titled “Carry You Home,” from his upcoming debut solo album, My Hurricane – set to be released digitally via Virgin Records on November 11th. On November 10th Jamie will return to Los Angeles to headline a Sold Out show at the famous Troubadour in Hollywood. An additional show has been added on November 11th. Fans can pick up tickets to this milestone showcase here. He will also perform at “Live In The Vineyard” on November 8th in Napa Valley, CA. The exclusive concert special will air New Year’s Eve on SiriusXM The Pulse. Jamie recently finished his tour with OneRepublic and played My Hurricane acoustically when he joined his old friends and pop superstars One Direction for three Rose Bowl shows in Pasadena, CA.

Over the last half-decade, Jamie has been writing and producing for hitmakers like One Direction (“Story of my Life,” “You & I,” “More Than This”), Christina Perri featuring Ed Sheeran, Ron Sexsmith, Enrique Iglesias, and Marsha Ambrosius. Jamie also co-wrote One Direction’s recently released track “Fireproof” from their upcoming album FOUR. After making waves with his Northern soul/indie-pop project Graffiti6 – the singer/songwriter began working on a batch of intensely personal songs sparked by his recently becoming a father and husband. Now with his new solo record, Jamie has brought those songs together to create an album that’s unabashedly emotional and gracefully sophisticated in both its lush and lovely, ’70s-folk-rock-influenced sound and intimate storytelling of an autographically inspired couple.
