“Our friend Cat made this awesome music video for a song we hold dear to our hearts. Super excited to share Cat’s amazing talent!” -Girlpool

LA duo, Girlpool have shared an animated music video for “Plants And Worms”, the latest track from their debut self-titled EP, out physically and digitally via Wichita Recordings on November 18th.

Girlpool are on tour now, tour dates include east coast shows with Slutever, CMJ dates, east coast dates supporting Jenny Lewis and UK dates. All tour dates below.

ABOUT GIRLPOOL:
Girlpool is a Los Angeles based two piece made up of Cleo Tucker (Guitar) and Harmony Tividad (Bass). Having met at local DIY venue the Smell, the two quickly grew very close. Their sound is raw, comprised only of a guitar, bass and vocal harmonies. The band uses this stripped-down instrumentation to accentuate their vulnerable yet powerful lyrics to create honest pieces, tackling concepts ranging from awareness and respect to the simple of feeling of being alone at a show.

PRAISE FOR GIRLPOOL:
“If rebellion had a sound, I imagine it would end up sounding a lot like Girlpool… It’s punk in the best sense of the word: fresh, raw, and uncompromising.” -Stereogum

“Armed with just two guitars, the duo reel you in with seriously catchy hooks and achieve more depth with these songs than any drum kit ever could.” -NME

“Every angst-ridden moment of growing up, from falling in love to self-acceptance is all perfectly captured in Girlpool’s self-titled debut. No matter the age of the listener it’s hard not to relate to the Los Angeles duo.” -The Grey Estates

“If Cat Power and Courtney Love came together to wear jean jackets and write angsty campfire songs, it would probably sound something like this.” -The Le Sigh
