“…She’s So Unusual, made [Cyndi] a household name.”- People Magazine

“Her voice, the sheer, unique New York-ness of it, has become an icon of the ’80s, but Lauper herself has transcended decades and has become a polymath: Activist, Broadway composer, producer, and even an actress, Lauper has harnessed her brand of spunk-pop for three solid decades.”- Refinery29

Cyndi Lauper continues the 30th Anniversary celebration of her breakthrough album She’s So Unusual, reissued as a 1CD expanded edition, a 2CD deluxe edition and limited edition vinyl on April 1, with an exclusive TV performance on Public Television’s Front and Center. The episode, set to premiere on May 17th, was recorded at New York’s Highline Ballroom, where Lauper performed the groundbreaking album in its entirety including the No. 1 hits “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” and “Time After Time.” In addition, the music icon shared intimate memories about the production of the album and her life at the time she recorded it.
