In conjunction with the launch of their new North American tour, Cloud Nothings are back today to share the video for “Now Hear In,” taken from this year’s Here And Nowhere Else LP. The clip, directed by Jordan Blackmon (of Toro Y Moi and Fork & Spoon Records fame) is a compilation of footage spliced together from the vaults of Los Angeles’ acclaimed Cinefile Video that features his Toro Y Moi band member Patrick Jeffords as the video’s protagonist.

Speaking about the inspiration for the VHS collage, Blackmon said the video is “a loose cyclical theme of identity and ego-birth/death” using a combination of “shot, manipulated and found footage.” Its release comes on the heels of the band getting quite busy between contributing to Cassette Store Day, releasing Outer Space’s remix of “Giving Into Seeing” and Dylan Baldi’s recent stint as substitute DJ for Julia Cunningham at Sirius XMU.
