Young Rising Sons Tours And Brings Debut EP
YOUNG RISING SONS
ON TOUR IN SUPPORT OF DEBUT EP
HIT TRACKS “HIGH” & “KING OF THE WORLD” CONTINUE TO BUZZ
“’High’ is a catchy as hell indie thrill ride that will have you checking your TV to see if there’s an Apple commercial on. It has everything you would want from an indie pop song, providing playful whistling, booming drums and charging vocal harmonies that carry the listener through memorable choruses. Couple that with the lighthearted vocal range and inflections from the lead singer, and you pretty much have the recipe for an indie rock chart topper.” – The Music Ninja
“As their first single ‘High’ continues to gain buzz, ‘King of the World’ proves that they’re not a one-hit wonder. Like ‘High,’ this one is driven by a big chorus and the kind of feel-good, anthemic, pop-leaning rock that you can clap your hands to, which is often indicative of major potential.” – Pigeons and Planes
New Jersey alt band Young Rising Sons continues an extensive tour in support of their self-titled debut EP (released 7/22 via Dirty Canvas/Interscope). Coming off successful tours with Little Daylight, Miniature Tigers and The Griswolds, Young Rising Sons has opening slots with Kongos, Bleachers as well as dates that will keep the band on the road through early fall.
The EP contains the current single “High” which went viral on social media in a digital storm of shares last month when they released the summertime, feel good video. “High” even caught the attention of BBC Radio 1’s tastemaker DJ Zane Lowe and the track was named as Zane’s “Next Hype” track receiving continued plays on his show. The EP also includes “King Of The World.” “Turnin’” and “Red & Gold” are equally compelling and another sign of what’s to come for this talented four piece. Of the EP, Earmilk says, “Filled with catchy hooks and sing-alongs, the EP houses four songs that are distinctly different, where they all share a sense of drive that draws you in.”
The band also recently released a remix of “High” from Little Daylight, which exclusively premieres via Neon Gold
