“I had just finished watching the Criterion release of Bottle Rocket and was reading through the booklet that came with the DVD when the idea struck me,” explains Joe Spadaro, Founder and President of American Laundromat Records. “I emailed my designer Lon immediately and he loved the idea.”
“When I started reaching out to artists, I was blown away by the positive reception. Everyone had a very strong connection to Wes’s films and the song they wanted to cover.”
