Debut Album Desperate Glow Out 11/18 via Lovitt Records
Formed in Chicago, originally as a creative side project for Maps & Atlases guitarist Erin Elders, Wedding Dress has grown to include Mike Russell & Matt Lemke (Suns), Bobby Burg (Love of Everything/Joan of Arc) and Christian Dawson (Gypsyblood). The eclectic line-up lends itself to the distinct complexity of Wedding Dress’ debut full-length Desperate Glow released November 18 on Lovitt Records.
The band previously revealed the booming, atmospheric album closer “Somewhere Darker,” and today they show their pop-chops with 2nd album teaser “Frail Flakes”. The track features Elders’ haunting falsetto vocals over an irresistible vintage beat, melodic synths and esoteric sounds. “Frail Flakes” premiered with WNYC and is available to post & share HERE.
With their mesmerizing live show, the band has collectively performed alongside Broken Bells, Sebadoh, Frightened Rabbit, Death Cab For Cutie and more. They will kick off a national fall tour in support of their debut full-length. Be sure to catch them live in a city near you!
