Unlocking The Truth Tours With Guns N’ Roses And More

12/13 YEAR-OLD METAL TRIO UNLOCKING THE TRUTH TAPPED AS MAIN SUPPORT FOR LEGENDARY HARD ROCKERS GUNS N’ ROSES

(New York, NY) – 12/13 year-old metal trio Unlocking The Truth has just been tapped as main support for legendary hard rockers Guns N’ Roses in Las Vegas, NV.  The nascent band will play on Friday, June 6th and Saturday, June 7th at the Hard Rock Hotel And Casino’s performance venue, The Joint.  Unlocking The Truth just supported Guns N’ Roses at their show in Bethlehem, PA at the Sands Event Center earlier this month.  The band will also be supporting Queens Of The Stone Age on several dates and just prior to that will appear on select shows of this summer’s Warped tour.  Please see below for Unlocking The Truth‘s itinerary, with more tour dates and appearances to be announced.

The buzz continues to mount about Unlocking The Truth.  Unlocking The Truth has been receiving rave reviews from the media and fans alike, all prior to the release of any music and within two years of the trio’s official formation.  In an incredibly short amount of time, the band has gone from rehearsing in a parents’ basement to opening for legendary artists in world-class venues.   Vibe.com avowed, “Their instrumental talents are on a level of bands like Black Sabbath…” while The Huffington Post declared they “play with a power that would have the members of Slayer stop and take note…”  Check out raw live footage taken from one of the band’s sets at Coachella here, and raw live footage of singer/guitarist Malcolm Brickhouse crowd-surfing at Coachella here.

Unlocking The Truth also recently supported iconic metallers, Motorhead, and wowed Coachella crowds with two explosive sets (not to mention being the youngest band ever to appear at the festival).  They had a high-profile performance at half-time of an NBA Playoff last month and appeared on the bill of the 2014 Skate And Surf Festival, all the while still attending junior high school full time.

Hailing from Brooklyn, Unlocking The Truth is a burgeoning metal band who write and create their own lyrics and music.  The trio has already appeared on national television (CNN, Fuse, FXX’s “Totally Biased” and more), performed at such high-profile music festivals as SXSW and AfroPunk and has been featured in such major outlets as Spin, The Huffington Post, Revolver, Loudwire, Vibe and more.  The band recently signed with The Cherry Party record label, and will soon head into the studio to record their debut solo album; more details to be announced shortly.  Unlocking The Truth is Malcolm Brickhouse (guitar), Jarad Dawkins (drums) and Alec Atkins (bass).
