The Tragic Thrills Go To Washington Square
THE TRAGIC THRILLS SIGN TO WASHINGTON SQUARE
Band On Tour Now With Air Traffic Controller
Self-Titled Album To Be Re-Released On September 30th
The Tragic Thrills have signed to Washington Square, the label imprint formed by Razor & Tie. The band will re-release their debut self-titled album on September 30th. Catch the band on tour this August with Air Traffic Controller, Fall tour dates to be announced soon (tour dates below).
Zach Porter lead vocalist of The Tragic Thrills comments, “Everyone who works at Washington Square/Razor & Tie has been very awesome so far. We really look forward to being a part of their roster and are grateful for the opportunity to continue making music.”
The transcendent pop-rock quintet is comprised of seasoned musicians with national and international touring experience, and successful track records with both major and independent labels. The band has toured with Twin Forks, Augustana and Pigpen Theater Co. In addition to Zach Porter, the band includes Cameron Quiseng (bass), Chris Morrison (lead guitar), Ans Gibson (drums), and Gabe Rudner (keyboard). With The Tragic Thrills, the band members break away from their legacies to rally behind the poetic and irreverently romantic songs Porter has crafted. Emboldened by the fresh start, the guys have taken the reins to steer their destiny. They self-funded their self-titled debut, and, enamored with the subtle genius production on Mat Kearney’s Young Love, handpicked producer Jason Lehning. The Tragic Thrills are managed by Richard and Stefanie Reines and represented for touring by Pete Anderson at APA.
The Tragic Thrills are the latest signing to Washington Square, an imprint formed by Razor & Tie. The band joins label mates The Hold Steady, Jon Batiste and Stay Human, Donald Cumming, Augustana, Deaf Havana and Born Cages.
