Mike Ragogna: What advice might you have for new artists?

Timothy B. Schmit: I get asked that a lot. The best thing I think I can come up with is go for it, but try and keep perspective. Not everybody is going to be on the radio, it’s not going to happen for everybody. What everybody can get from it is the original reason you start–it’s fun and it’s enjoyable. I say no matter if it turns into a big monster business or you’ve got a day job and you play on weekends, the enjoyment is exactly the same and not to forget that.
