Tanner Stewart’s “Come Alive” Released, EP Coming June 5th

Make way for Tanner Stewart, a rising rock vocalist putting his stamp on the musical landscape.  Tanner’s self-titled debut EP will be released June 5, 2014. Check out the second single “Come Alive,” out now.

The product of his collaboration with producer, Brian Virtue (Jane’s Addiction, Chevelle, Soundgarden), the EP features six emotionally charged tracks that highlight Tanner’s ability to seamlessly integrate foot-stomping rock, dirty blues and upbeat pop.  Each song makes evident Tanner’s undeniable talent as a singer, songwriter, guitarist and frontman.  

Recorded in Nashville, Tanner’s EP features tracks such as the larger-than-life rock ballad, “Come Alive” and the gritty, unapologetic first single, “Where You Go.”

Listen to Tanner’s EP, and it’s clear he has the knowledge, attitude and experience of someone well beyond his 24 years.  Perhaps, it’s because Tanner’s story provides the foundation for his commitment to making music that seeps into the soul.  Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Tanner discovered his passion for music at a young age, after watching his father’s band perform in local venues.  By the time Tanner was just 20 years old, he had overcome a rare, life-threatening blood disease and won the battle against drug addiction.  But, it was music that helped shaped him into the man he is today.

Now clean, healthy and living in New York City, Tanner is more determined and focused on his music than ever before.  The consummate storyteller, Tanner is following in the footsteps of his heroes: David Bowie, Mick Jagger, Jim Morrison and the first he ever saw perform live, Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots. Aside from his killer melodies and lyrics, Tanner is a frontman, a performer, and a man whose mission is to get lost in the music and show the world both his sonic and visual presence.

On his debut EP, Tanner tells tales of love and loss, passion and pain, happiness and heartache – taking listeners on what is, unquestionably, a one-of-a-kind journey.  And, of course, Tanner’s journey is only just beginning.
