“…riotous eclectic punk rock…” – Speak Into My Good Eye

“…a fantastically spirited burst of political punk rock.” – New Noise Magazine

In support of their newly released “Eat Your Leaders” EP, available this week, New York art-punk troupe The Strange Times, have premiered a full stream of their release, and sat down for an exclusive interview with California-based hard rock and punk magazine New Noise. In addition to the new release, the band is currently preparing to set out on a string of dates with friends InCircles beginning early next month.

Since December 2012, The Strange Times have been crafting an eclectic style of punk rock, which is noted for its urgent social critiques, poignant political satires, and occasional string arrangements. In January 2014, the NYC-based band released their debut EP, “I Love Cops,” which was followed by the release of a single and two music videos, touring on the east coast, and an appearance at Punk Island and the CBGB Music Festival.

The Strange Times second EP, available today, was produced by Ezra Kire (Morning Glory, Leftöver Crack, Choking Victim) and Jesse Cannon.
