The Stone Foxes’ “Locomotion” Arrives
THE STONE FOXES RELEASE “LOCOMOTION”
Announce New Album Twelve Spells and New Tour Dates
Shows with Gov’t Mule, Social Distortion and a Residency Series
“….a harmonica-laden romp……one-upping the blues bruisers we love them for.” – San Francisco’s LIVE 105 on Locomotion
San Francisco’s the Stone Foxes are excited to announce the release of their new song Locomotion as part of the Foxes First Fridays. The first Friday of every month for the next year the Stone Foxes will be releasing a new song. At the end of the year the band will be compiling all the songs, photos, live recordings, alternative mixes, photos, art work and into one large unique album package entitled Twelve Spells that is available now for pre-order.
This Stone Foxes are lead by brothers Shannon (drums, harmonica, vocals) and Spence Koehler (guitar, vocals) and along with their brothers in rock-and-roll Vince Dewald (bass, vocals), Ben Andrews (guitar, violin), Elliot Peltzman (keys, vocals), and Brian Bakalian (drums) they bring their freewheeling, frenetic energy to the stage with plenty of tightly crafted hooks and dance worthy rhythms to spare.
“ Explosive and in constant flux, the sets find The Stone Foxes swapping instruments and lead vocal duties. They emphasize an immediate connection to fans and listeners” – NPR’s World Café
Know for their bombastic and unpredictable live show that the San Francisco Examiner has called “barnstorming blues-rock,” the Stone Foxes will be taking these new songs on the road this fall that will include shows supporting Gov’t Mule and Social Distortion, along with a series of residency shows at San Francisco’s the Chapel and Los Angeles’ Bootleg Theater.
