Mike Ragogna: Steve, with all of you years in the business as an incredible musician, songwriter, and A&R guy, what is your advice for new artists?

Steve Cropper: Well, that’s a good question. I just mentioned earlier Dylan LeBlanc, who I think is going to be a superstar. The only thing I can tell you is the same thing I’ve always said–if you believe in yourself, and you’ve got a dream you want to pursue, don’t give up. Just hang in there no matter what anybody tells you. If someone tells you that you can’t make it or you’re not very good, don’t believe them. Just keep going and it will find its way. The cream rises to the top–always has.
