Angello recently debuted the song to his fans during a massive performance at the UK’s famed T in the Park festival, and the song is already receiving early critical acclaim. MTV praised the track for “mixing Angello’s signature EDM with Dougy’s hypnotic vocals,” while BBC Newsbeat commended its “melodic, instrumental dance music sound.”
‘Wasted Love’ features vocals from Dougy Mandagi, lead vocalist from the anthemic Australian band The Temper Trap, and a longtime fan of Angello’s prolific repertoire of breakthrough signature tracks. The striking lyric video for the new single, shot in Angello’s native Stockholm, features amazing aerial views and up-close fan reactions at his live shows, all through stunning black and white visuals. The inspiring collaboration with Dougy is one of many unique pairings anticipated to be on Angello’s upcoming debut album, Wild Youth, declared by Dancing Astronaut to be “one of dance music’s most awaited albums in recent history…”
‘Wasted Love’ is also receiving early international radio support, with Radio 1’s Zane Lowe debuting the song as “Hottest Record in the World,” and SiriusXM’s Sr. Director of Programming, Geronimo, noting, “after one play, the song far exceeded any expectations…the early buzz on the song has been phenomenal.”

He is currently putting the finishing touches on his upcoming album, Wild Youth, due out in the fall of 2014 via Columbia Records.
