The Soft Pink Truth Remixes
Drew Daniel’s latest album as The Soft Pink Truth, Why Do The Heathen Rage?, has inspired more than a little bit of controversy in the wider heavy metal community. But it has also been noted by more than one publication generally devoted to the heaviest of the heavy that Daniel’s electronic reinterpretations of black metal classics belie a deep and abiding love for the genre. Underscoring that point, Daniel has made a DJ mix of intro and outro tracks from some of his favorite black metal albums for Invisible Oranges, who also spoke with Drew in-depth about the philosophical and theoretical backbone of the project. The mix features tracks from Striborg, Negura Bunget, Celtic Frost, Bathory, Mahem, and more.
