The new music video for the haunting “Hold On,” available on The Best of Me Soundtrack, from singer/songwriter’s SHEL & Gareth Dunlop is now available for fans to view.

“Hold On,” a song that USA Today calls “twinkling” and “pining” appears on the soundtrack for the Nicholas Sparks penned film, The Best of Me, which hit stores on Oct. 7 via EMI Nashville in conjunction with Relativity Music. Relativity Studios’ film, The Best of Me, is now playing in theaters nationwide.

“Hold On” was written and performed by Gareth Dunlop and Eva Holbrook from SHEL.

SHEL, a band of four sisters from Fort Collins, CO is an acronym for their names; Sarah on violin, Hannah on keyboards, Eva on mandolin, and Liza on drums, djembe and beatboxing. SHEL are classically trained musicians known for hypnotic vocal arrangements, infections rhythms and captivating shows.

Gareth Dunlop is a soul singer from Belfast, Northern Ireland known for songs that have appeared in TV and Film including Bones, HOUSE, One Tree Hill, NASHVILLE and the previous Nicholas Sparks film, Save Haven. He’s opened for Van Morrison, The Stereophonics, James Morrison and John Oates.

Other artists contributing all brand new original music on the album include Lady Antebellum, Hunter Hayes, David Nail, Kacey Musgraves, Colbie Caillat, Kip Moore, Eli Young Band, Eric Paslay, Thompson Square, Thomas Rhett and Phoebe Hoffman.
