Citi will present an exclusive performance by award-winning comedian and late night talk show host Seth Meyers. The standup performance will take place on Friday, January 23 at 8:00 PM at The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater. Tickets are currently available for purchase exclusively by Citi® cardmembers via www.citiprivatepass.com.This event is a continuation of Citi’s new comedy series open exclusively to cardmembers and is produced by Carolines on Broadway’s live event division. The series kicked off last fall with a conversation-style event with Larry David and David Steinberg live in Los Angeles, and a standup performance by Seth Meyers in San Francisco.
“The Citi comedy series kicked off last year and has quickly become a favorite among our extensive entertainment offers for Citi cardmembers,” said Jennifer Breithaupt, SVP of Entertainment Marketing for Citi. “Seth Meyers delivered a hilarious set for our customers in San Francisco last November, and we’re excited that the show will be heading south this winter to Miami.”
Seth Meyers is an Emmy Award-winning writer and the host of NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers.” Recently named one of the 2014 TIME 100, Time Magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people, Meyers began his TV career with “Saturday Night Live” in 2001, where he was a cast member for 13 seasons. Meyers acted as head writer for nine seasons and was a performer for eight seasons. In 2011 Meyers won the Emmy for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for a guest host’s musical monologue. He garnered 10 additional Emmy nominations for his work as a writer in television. Meyers also executive produces and lends his voices to Hulu’s animated superhero show “The Awesomes.” The show premiered in August 2013 and was picked up for a second season. He hosted the 2010 and 2011 ESPY Awards on ESPN and headlined the 2011 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner to rave reviews. Most recently Meyers hosted the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards.
