AUSTRALIAN TRIO ANNOUNCES NORTH AMERICAN HEADLINING TOUR FOR FALL

Australian Indie-house trio RÜFÜS DU SOL will release their debut album, ‘ATLAS,’ on August 25. The album, which debuted at #1 on the official Australian ARIA chart upon its release and is now certified Gold there. Fans who pre-order the album will receive five instant downloads, including new track “Imaginary Air.” Praised as “sublime” for its “ambient sounds” by the U.K.’s Birmingham Mail. In celebration of the album, RÜFÜS DU SOL will head back to North America this fall for a headlining tour crossing the U.S. and Canada. Kicking off in Boston on October 4, the tour will hit major cities including Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, where they’ll play the legendary Fonda Theatre. RÜFÜS DU SOL has already received their share of award accolades, having been nominated for two ARIA awards for Best Dance Release and Breakthrough Artist of the Year. Artist Direct praised the band for “craft(ing) otherworldly dreamscapes that you’ll want to fall into again and again,” noting, “This is by far one of the year’s most gorgeous albums.” Known for their hypnotic vocals and driving, catchy, danceable tunes, RÜFÜS DU SOL will play numerous international festival dates this summer, including Splendour in the Grass (AU), Reading and Leeds (UK) and FWTB (GER) before returning to the states.
