CONFIRMED FOR AUSTIN CITY LIMITS IN OCTOBER

Sand + Silence, the new album from The Rosebuds (and produced by Justin Vernon) is now released.

The band’s first tour in support of Sand + Silence kicked off last week in Atlanta, GA. In continues through this month and includes a date at Rough Trade in Brooklyn this Friday, August 8 as well as in Los Angeles, Vancouver and Seattle. The Rosebuds are also confirmed to play as part of Austin City Limits the weekends of October 3 and October 10. The full list of dates is below. There are still guest list spots available for all shows.

Under The Radar recently premiered the track entitled “Esse Quam Videri,” which you can listen to here. Previously the band released the single “Blue Eyes” that AV Club said, “does somersaults all over the beach in its attempt to put a little harmony and sun in your heart.” Stereogum have said of The Rosebuds, “Ivan Howard and Kelly Crisp have long excelled at straightforward, carefully arranged rock songs derived equally from folk-rock and soul…”
