“Songwriters’ Songwriter” (New Yorker) Ron Sexsmith has confirmed a string of West Coast dates this June. The dates follow sold out shows in New York City, Chicago, Nashville and more celebrating the release of Sexsmith’s fourteenth album, Carousel One, out now on Compass Records.

Carousel One, produced by Jim Scott, features 14 new Sexsmith originals. It was recorded with an incredible cast of musicians who helped bring the album to life including bass player Bob Glaub, who has recorded with John Lennon and Jackson Browne; guitarist Jon Graboff (John Lee Hooker, Dr John); drummer Don Heffington (Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris, Lone Justice); and keyboard player John Ginty (Dixie Chicks, Whiskeytown, Neal Casal, Matthew Sweet). The album takes its name from the luggage retrieval belt at Los Angeles airport where bags off Toronto inbound flights are delivered.
