Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers Announce Fall 2014 Tour Dates
The Independent tour continues with special performances Aug.-Dec.
Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers have announced additional concert dates celebrating the April release of their seventh studio album, The Independent. The band will tour across the Southwest, Midwest and East Coast, August through September, leading up to a special show in Puerto Peñasco, Mexico in October.
Paying homage to the true independent in everyone, RCPM’s The Independent debuted at No. 7 on the iTunes Rock Chart on the first day of release and shortly after landed on the 2014 Billboard 200 list. Fans flocked to the band’s exclusive album release event at the Scottsdale, Arizona Talking Stick Resort’s outdoor poolside concert venue, singing along to hits off the new album including “Stick It to the Man,” “California Breakdown” and title track “The Independent.” The new single, “Ain’t Got The Words,” can be heard in rotation on radio stations across the country.
Annually Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers tour across the U.S. and each June Clyne independently produces his own seaside music festival in Puerto Peñasco aka Rocky Point, Mexico called Circus Mexicus. Phoenix New Times coined the festival the “Best Rock ‘n’ Roll Road Trip,” with over 4,000 people attending this year’s event. Following 20 concert dates across the Southwest, Midwest, and East Coast the band will journey back to Puerto Peñasco for a special performance at the Boomer Fest Days on October 10 followed by hometown shows in Arizona.
