“I am truly looking forward to sharing Supernova with fans as a live show for the first time,” says LaMontagne. “It’s always exciting to perform new music, but I’m especially proud of this album. I’m also grateful to Citi for helping to put on these intimate shows, and even more pleased to help out a great cause like Musicians on Call in doing so.”

Ray LaMontagne has released 4 studio albums (Trouble, Till The Sun Turns Black, Gossip in the Grain and God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise).  Ray’s most recent critically acclaimed, Grammy award winning album God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 on the Digital Album chart. This marked a personal sales best for Ray and tied his debut chart position at #3 with Gossip in the Grain.  God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise garnered 3 Grammy Award nominations including the coveted Song of The Year category for “Beg Steal or Borrow” and won the Grammy for Best Contemporary Folk Album. The first single off the album, “Beg Steal or Borrow” became Ray’s first radio #1.  LaMontagne released his new single, “Supernova” in February 2014, the first single off his 5th studio album of the same name.  This single is one of Ray’s fastest growing singles at AAA radio, with the song rocketing into the top 5 within two weeks of impact.  The album was produced by Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) and recorded in Nashville, TN.
