R5 PICKED AS VEVO LIFT ARTIST FOR OCTOBER

BAND TO PERFORM ON GOOD MORNING AMERICA FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 28

Pop-rock quintet R5 have announced a special fan event, dubbed R5 for $5, which takes place Monday, September 29 at the Gramercy Theater in New York City.

To share this final show with their fans across the U.S. and around the world, R5 has teamed up with Live Nation and Yahoo to live-stream the concert. This is one of 365 concerts to stream over a 12-month period on the Live Nation Channel on the Yahoo! Screen.

Fans can either tune in on 9/29 at 8:00pm ET / 5:00pm PT here: https://screen.yahoo.com/live/event/r5 or they also have the option to stream the concert wherever they are through Yahoo Screen on iOS, Android, mobile Web, desktop and Smart TV platforms including Apple TV, Roku and Xbox 360.

For fans in the New York area that want to be part of the live-stream, tomorrow (Wed., Sept. 24) at 7:00am ET R5 fan club members (the R5Family) will get a message with a special link and code allowing them to purchase the $5 ticket from 7amET until 12noon ET.

In addition, Vevo has chosen the Colorado born/LA based band for the coveted and influential LIFT artist spotlight starting Tuesday, September 30 and continuing throughout the month of October. Previous LIFT artist include Lorde, Bastille, Sam Smith among others. Fans can visit Vevo’s apps, Vevo.com and partner web sites for the opportunity to get know the band (siblings Ross, Rocky, Riker, Rydel Lynch and good friend Ratliff) through exclusive interviews, performance videos and behind-the-scenes footage.

In support of the band’s EP, R5 will stop by Good Morning America, the #1 rated morning show in the country, Friday, November 28 to perform their new single and title track “Heart Made Up On You” .

The band’s third EP , Heart Made Up On You, is available now at iTunes, Amazon Music and Google Play. Upon release, the EP hit #2 on the iTunes Pop Chart, #3 on the iTunes overall chart and #12 on Billboard’s Digital album chart.

R5 will release their sophomore full-length album in early 2015.
