Internationally acclaimed rock band Placebo will embark on their first full North American tour since 2007, beginning October 8 in Philadelphia. Touring in support of their seventh studio album, Loud Like Love (UMe), the 11-city tour includes a headlining show at the Escape Music Festival in Brooklyn, NY on October 11.
Recorded in London at RAK Studios, Loud Like Love was produced by Adam Noble, features 10 brand new studio tracks, and is available in five different formats:

The album, the first to be launched via a live TV show on YouTube, placed in the Top 20 in 27 countries and entered the top 5 in 10 countries including, Austria (2) Belgium (2) France (3) Germany (3) Greece (4) Hong Kong (4) Italy (2) Romania (1) Russia (1) Switzerland (1) Taiwan (5).
It is the first time the band have released their album on streaming services worldwide, achieving over 2.5 million plays on the major platforms including Spotify & Deezer, in it’s first week and 15 million streams to date.
Following the singles “Too Many Friends” and the title track, “Loud Like Love,” the band released the newest single, “A Million Little Pieces,” in June. Available on 7” vinyl and digital, the b-side/bonus track is a beautiful new rendition of the album track “Hold On To Me” (piano version) mixed by Stefan Olsdal of Placebo.
