Keep You is the band’s third full-length release and first with Epitaph Records. While Pianos Become the Teeth have evolved within their sound, front man Kyle Durfey insists Keep You is more of “a musical growth [than] a departure”. Dealing with subjects such as mortality and communication, the band continues to put forward music that is both profoundly honest and deeply personal. Their intensity is ever-present, expressed now with heaviness and raw emotion instead of distortion and screams. Keep You is a mature leap forward for Pianos Become the Teeth as they have embraced a beautifully pining and ambitious rock sound.

Brooklyn Vegan calls this “their best material yet.” Noisey asserts that “a lack of screaming does not equate a lack of intensity.” And according to SPIN, “luminous guitar swell with furor.”

Pianos Become The Teeth will celebrate Keep You with a few special record release shows with Gates and Frameworks at the end of October. The band will also embark on a US tour with Circa Survive and Title Fight this November through December.
