Pharrell Williams Works With Giving Works

PHARRELL WILLIAMS LAUNCHES ONLINE AUCTION WITH EBAY’S GIVING WORKS TO BENEFIT EDUCATIONAL CHARITY From One Hand to AnOTHER

 

(New York, NY – May 19th, 2014)— Global superstar Pharrell Williams has partnered with eBay’s Giving Works for a new auction that benefits From One Hand to AnOTHER, a charity that provides youth with the educational tools they need for success.  The eBay auction will feature a number of items and experiences donated by Pharrell and friends, including a studio visit with renowned artist JR, two tickets to a taping of NBC’s hit show The Voice during Blind Auditions, unreleased Bee Line X Timberland boots, premiere tickets to the Bruno Mars and Pharrell Wiliams NYC concert which includes a meet and greet with Pharrell, and limited edition art including a print donated by Japanese artist Takashi Murakami.  The auction concludes on Thursday, May 22ndat 7pm.  To check out the auction, please visit www.ebay.com/fohta.

Proceeds from the auction will fund From One Hand to AnOTHER educational programs which help underserved students in the Virginia Beach area, where Pharrell grew up.  Founded by Pharrell in 2008, From One Hand To AnOTHER provides children with a supplemental learning experience and gives exposure to different technologies, arts and resources that help youth discover their unique potential for a successful and fulfilling future.
