Peppina’s Follow Your Gravity Goes To PopDust

PopDust Premieres Follow Your Gravity,  The Debut EP From Peppina

Follow Your Gravity Will Be Released Tomorrow

The 19 year old singer/songwriter Peppina has partnered with the team at PopDust to premiere her debut EP, Follow Your Gravity

The 5-song EP will be available via all digital retailers tomorrow, February 24, 2015. Peppina spent this past summer in New York, working with a who’s who of musicians and producers (Jeff Franzel, Jimmy Landry, Michael Spivack) to record Follow Your Gravity and launched an indiegogo campaign late last year to finish the project. With the help of the hitRECord community, she was able to fulfill her campaign goal in less than two months. As a thank you to those donating to her campaign, she offered her first single “Time Standing Still” as a free download and gave fans an early listen of the song by partnering with

All Music to premiere the track in December. Peppina also previewed material from Follow Your Gravity last month when she played at the Sundance Film Festival. She spent a week at the festival, playing for fans at the NY Lounge before returning to New York to play Rockwood Music Hall. Peppina has plans to return to the States this spring to support her debut and will announce tour plans shortly.

Peppina made quite the impression on the music world when she began sharing her music on hitRECord.org a couple of years ago. Many of her songs were used as the backdrop to incredible videos including “Mademoiselle Noir” which was used in a short created by the hitRECord community and shared on You Tube by Levi’s. The website was founded by actor/director Joseph Gordon-Levitt who quickly discovered and became a fan of the Finnish singer. He invited her to the States to perform two songs – “Beastly Beauty” and “We Can Go Back Again” – live with him for Season One of the Emmy award winning TV show, Hit Record On TV. The acclaimed actor has also mentioned Peppina in various interviews he’s done around the website and show telling the New York Daily News, “One of the most talented songwriters I’ve found is a woman named Peppina from Finland. Her English lyrics are amazing.”
