Panic! At The Disco Presents “Hallelujah” From DCD2

Panic! At The Disco Reveal New Single “Hallelujah”

From Forthcoming Album on DCD2 / Fueled by Ramen

Band Performs at the 7th Annual Shorty Awards TONIGHT

Panic! At The Disco premiered their brand new single, “Hallelujah,” this morning exclusively on Los Angeles’ world famous KROQ in a surprise for fans and industry alike. The track marks the first new music from Panic! At The Disco in nearly two years. The band is currently at work on their yet-to-be-named fifth studio album.

Panic! will also perform at tonight’s 7th Annual Shorty Awards, honoring the best of social media. Hosted by former SNL’er Rachel Dratch, P!ATD will play their new single, “Hallelujah” for the first time live ever as well as smash hit “Miss Jackson.” Panic! At The Disco is a natural choice as the band has had their share of viral moments, from Brendon Urie’s Vines featuring Positive Hardcore Thursday, their epic cover of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” or that time their fans broke the floor of a venue. The ceremony will be livestreamed to a global audience tonight at 8pm ET.

The band’s last album, Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! (DCD2 / Fueled By Ramen) featuring RIAA Gold single and Top 10 Modern Rock hit “Miss Jackson,” propelled them to the top of the charts, debuting at #2 week of release. The band headlined sold out tours with Walk the Moon and Neon Gold’s Magic Man that included one memorable show in Atlanta where the crowd was so large the floor broke. P!ATD performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Conan, and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson among other award show and TV performances.

Panic! At The Disco has been a band since 2005, when they caught the eye of Pete Wentz after sending him a handful of demo recordings. The subsequent success of their first single, “I Write Sins Not Tragedies,” propelled them into the pop stratosphere. The album, 2005’s A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out, went double platinum and was followed by 2008’s Pretty. Odd. (which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Album chart), and Vices & Virtues, which debuted at No. 7 and racked up critical accolades.
