ODESSA ANNOUNCES SEPTEMBER 9 RELEASE DATE FOR HER SELF-TITLED EP

HEAR THE FIRST SINGLE “I WILL BE THERE”

ODESSA is gearing up to release her Odessa EP [Chop Shop/Republic Records] on September 9 through iTunes and all digital retailers. The set is comprised of four new songs including the buzzing single “I Will Be There.”

The California native conjures up lithe and lush imagery on “I Will Be There”. It’s driven by heavenly, elegant harmonies and soft acoustics. She recently performed the single on The Queen Latifah show. The EP features production by none other than Jacquire King [Tom Waits, Kings Of Leon], and it offers a fitting introduction to her unique and undeniable sound.

The New York Times also recently profiled her in its “Style Magazine Online.” They described “I Will Be There” perfectly calling it “a plaintive love song with a lilting melody.” Check out the full feature here.
