Nothing More Is Something Else

NOTHING MORE

There was a lot of hype surrounding the signing of San Antonio, TX alt-prog-rockers, NOTHING MORE.  The press release announcing their signing to Eleven Seven Music had 4 pages jam-packed full of quotes from all over the world touting the band’s potential and praising their self-titled debut album that comes out today (6/23).  After months of hard touring in the US, along with select festival appearances in the UK and Europe, NOTHING MORE has garnered even more praise for their live representation of the critically-acclaimed album, as well as accolades at radio and from their peers.  To celebrate their success thus far, they will set out on the WE ARE NOT MACHINES tour, headlining with special guests Sleepwave.

Both REVOLVER Magazine and ALTERNATIVE PRESS Magazine and BILLBOARD (US) have named NOTHING MORE a BAND TO WATCH and press all over the world has agreed. MyRock (France) has named their self-titled debut ALBUM OF THE MONTH for June 2014.  Tom Doyle of Kerrang! (UK) calls their music “Hard rocking, profoundly compelling and ferociously intelligent,” and warns to “… expect big things from this lot in the very near future.”  Metal Hammer (UK) called their debut “…infectious, abrasive and well… stunning.”

NOTHING MORE’s “This Is The Time (Ballast)” is now a TOP 5 Rock Radio track!  The band is in good company – with Pop Evil, Three Days Grace, Seether and Royal Blood.   It has been the #1 Most Played Song at SiriusXM’s  Octane channel for 10 weeks in a row!

NOTHING MORE recently played the DOWNLOAD Festival in the UK, and ROCK AM RING and ROCK IM PARK in Germany and have toured the US with Chevelle, Killswitch Engage and 12 Foot Ninja.  CREATIVE LOAFING named them the BEST NEW BAND at Carolina Rebellion Festival and said “This is the band people are going to be talking about for some time.”   So they can reach even more of their fans, the band is setting out on a run of headline dates prior to their recently-announced big fall tour with FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, VOLBEAT and HELLYEAH.
