MORNING PARADE ANNOUNCE US TOUR
Modern Rock Radio Stations Presenting In Each City
(March 19, 2014) – Rising UK alternative rock five-piece MORNING PARADE today announce a spring headline tour in April and May. The band will visit cities throughout the US plus a show in Toronto in partnership with a radio station in each city. Morning Parade recently released their 4-song Alienation EP (SO Recordings/Caroline), featuring tracks from their forthcoming album. The lead single, “Alienation,” is currently burning up the Modern Rock radio charts with no signs of slowing down. Having just returned from SXSW where they performed three packed shows, Morning Parade has launched a contest via Instagram where they are revealing clues each day for fans to follow and guess the titles from their soon-to-be-announced second full-length. The video clues were created usingFlipagram and additional clues are also being posted on the band’s Twitter.
Morning Parade spent several months last year in Atlanta, Georgia recording their forthcoming album with famed producer Ben Allen (Animal Collective, CeeLo Green) and exciting news along with pre-order details will be announced next week.
Morning Parade – Steve Sparrow (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Andrew Hayes (drums) Phil Titus (bass, backing vocals), Ben Giddings (piano, synths backing vocals) and Chad Thomas (lead guitar) – released their self-titled debut album on Astralwerks in the US in 2010. The track “Headlights” became a smash and was on the Billboard alternative radio charts for 37 weeks while the band played major festivals in the US, UK and Europe and opened for bands as varied as Foster The People, 30 Seconds to Mars, Walk The Moon, The Smashing Pumpkins and Silversun Pickups.
