MisterWives’ “Reflections” Video Exceeds 4.4 Million Hits

MisterWives Announce Full U.S. Tour Supporting twenty one pilots This Fall; Band Added to Made In America Festival in Philadelphia

Premiere Official “Reflections” Music Video as Song Passes 4.4 Million Streams on Spotify

New York City’s MisterWives are thrilled to announce that they’ll be on the road all fall supporting twenty one pilots on a huge nationwide tour. This week, the band kicks off a run of dates with Bleachers, which will include a performance at this year’s Made In America Festival in Philadelphia on August 31st alongside Kings of Leon, Pharrell, Grimes, and more. After wrapping up their trek with Bleachers with a hometown show at Webster Hall on September 4th, they’ll join up with twenty one pilots beginning September 5th in Columbus. The tour will hit notable venues around the country along the way, including Los Angeles’ Palladium, two nights at both Philadelphia’s Tower Theatre and Chicago’s Aragon Theatre, and the band’s biggest hometown play yet at Terminal 5 in Manhattan. The tour wraps up in Houston on October 19th before MisterWives heads to Las Vegas to play the second annual Life is Beautiful Festival. Yesterday, BuzzFeed premiered the insanely fun, perfectly timed back-to-school official music video for “Reflections.”

Over the past few months, the band has made several appearances at summer festivals including appearances at Firefly, Northside, MoPop, Summerfest, and more in support of their debut EP Reflections which was released in January via Photo Finish. Lead single “Reflections” – a song that’s grabbed the attention of everyone from Teen Vogue (“… a flawless blend of folk and soul…”) to The Line of Best Fit (“…bouncing rhythms, euphoric jangly guitars, and big pop hooks…”) – just passed 4.4 million streams on Spotify alone. Another standout on the EP, “Vagabond,” has also been making waves – the track was recently chosen as the theme song to MTV’s brand new drama “Finding Carter,” which airs every Tuesday at 10/9c and tonight will feature a :15 second spot of the music video during the show.

In addition to making their way through the festival circuit this summer, MisterWives has been hard at work in the studio in Brooklyn recording their debut full-length. Though no release date has been set, the band has been working with Frequency, who co-produced “Reflections” and notably produced on Eminem & Rihanna’s “The Monster.”

MisterWives hit the road with Bleachers starting tomorrow in Indianapolis. See below for all confirmed dates with Bleachers, twenty one pilots, and more and for the most up to date information, go to www.misterwives.com .
