LOS ANGELES-BASED BAND TO SUPPORT BOMBAY BICYCLE CLUB ON CROSS COUNTRY TREK BEGINNING OCTOBER 1

Elektra recording group Milo Greene has unveiled details for their much-anticipated fall tour.  The cross-country trek will see the Los Angeles-based quintet supporting English indie-rock band Bombay Bicycle Club and kick off on October 1 at Soma in San Diego, CA.  Other tour highlights include stops at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles (October 3), the Warfield in San Francisco (October 5), and Terminal 5 in New York City (October 22) – see attached for full itinerary.  General on-sale will begin on Friday, May 30, at 10am (local time).  For more ticketing information and tour updates, please visit www.milogreene.com.

Milo Greene is currently working on their second full-length album with acclaimed producer Jesse Shatkin, known for his studio work with Foster The People, Twin Shadow, and The Shins among others.  Shatkin also co-wrote and co-produced Sia’s new single “Chandelier,” whose official music video has already amassed nearly 16 million views online. Milo Greene’s forthcoming, as-yet-untitled collection is the follow up to the band’s self-titled debut album, which entered Billboard’s Heatseekers chart at #1.

Milo Greene’s atmospheric, indie-pop sound and mesmerizing live performances has earned the band high profile slots festivals such as Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and Outside Lands as well as supporting roles on tours with like-minded artists like The Civil Wars, Cold War Kids, and The Walkmen.  Co-produced by the band and Ryan Hadlock, their 2012 debut album “MILO GREENE” received a raft of critical acclaim including The Associated Press who praised it as “a tapestry of richly reverbed guitar, inventive drum work and something sorely missing amid today’s morass of arrange-by-numbers rock music – a beautifully delivered concept.”  Furthermore, Nylon hailed Milo Greene as the “feel-good band of the summer” while Consequence of Sound noted, “there’s no real front-person, not even a lead singer, and it works to an impressive advantage.
