Michelle Chamuel releases her solo debut Face The Fire, today via The End Records/ADA. The solo record showcases her ability as an extremely talented vocalist and producer. Having co-produced and engineered the record herself, Face The Fire is a pop record that delivers infectious melodies and thundering energy. Co-written and co-produced by former band mates, Theo Katzman and Tyler Duncan in Chamuel’s hometown of Amherst, Massachusetts, the record is sure to stun old fans and new listeners alike. With walls of synthesizers and big hooks, it offers a glimpse of the songwriter-producer’s elegant depth.
To celebrate the release of her first full-length solo effort, Michelle has put her production prowess on display with a remix of fan and mentor Usher’s infamous song “Climax”.
No stranger to the stage or the industry, Michelle Chamuel got her start playing in the Michigan rock band, Ella Riot, which saw her on the road over 200 days a year and playing festivals including Lollapalooza 2010 and SXSW. Following the end of the band in 2012, Michelle began releasing music under her production moniker, The Reverb Junkie, and saw her track “All I Want” reach number 6 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic charts and number 1 on the iTunes Dance Chart. Still, voice is her primary instrument, and with it Chamuel’s debut effortlessly transmits a wide range of emotional frequencies that drive her.
Face The Fire is available on iTunes and exclusive album bundle configurations are available via The Omega Order.
