MC Roosh Goes Unorthodox

ROOSH WILLIAMS RELEASES UNORTHODOX ALBUM TODAY!

Today, standout Houston MC Roosh Williams releases his highly anticipated album, Unorthodox. The 11-track album includes guest artists Scarface, Emilio Rojas, and GT Garza along with Texas based producers Trakksounds, Lacemode and DaStunnaBeatz. Unorthodox is Roosh Williams’ follow-up to the acclaimed deja Roo: Times Have Changed which Complex Magazine hailed as “one of the top ten Houston Rap Projects of 2013.”

Roosh has received incredible support from hometown media outlets including the Houston Chronicle who called the new release “hotly anticipated,” the Houston Press declared Roosh “Your New Favorite Rapper” and the Free Press Houston found Roosh Williams at the “forefront of the new Houston hip-hop class.”

“I’ve worked incredibly hard on this record over the past couple years and I’m really proud of the finished product,” says Roosh. “Being able to make noise as an independent artist who is essentially a 1 man army in one of the largest cities in the country is the craziest thing in the world to me; however, the fact that it has culminated into this album makes the struggle worth it. I hope that the music can reach as many new ears as possible. I hope people enjoy the project. But most of all, I hope my listeners get a chance to embrace all that is “unorthodox” within their own world.”

Unorthodox includes 11 brand new songs including fan favorite “Deep End” featuring the legendary Scarface. XXL Magazine partnered up with Roosh to exclusively premiere the music video just last week. Also included is the double-time flow “Extraordinary” featuring Emilio Rojas where DJBooth finds “the Houstonian buzzmaker showcasing his acrobatic flow and intricate pen game.” AllHipHop gave a “Fresh Heat” nod to “Staring At Me” where Roosh “slams down his opponents with gritty bars over the hypnotic guitar riff all while still maintaining his chill vibe.” Meanwhile, RESPECT Magazine praised Roosh for “ingeniously sampling Dazz Band’s 1982 hit “Let it Whip” where Roosh and GT Garza “spit impeccable bars over the 80’s classic.”

For a limited time and while supplies last, super fans can purchase for $100 the Super-Support Deluxe Unorthodox Package which includes 3 Bonus Songs: the Extended Version of “Deep End” featuring Scarface, an alternate version of fan favorite “It’s A Beautiful Thing” featuring Action Bronson, and a previously unreleased song.
