Montibello Memories Out This Week On Columbia Records, Band Announce Additions To 28-Date Spring U.S. Tour

May 8, 2014 – “Rarely will you hear a debut record this assured and diverse.”  That’s what American Songwriter has to say about Matrimony’s Columbia Records full-length debut in a glowing 4-star review.  The album is out this week, and the growing praise for the band and the album is rising to deafening levels.  GQ says the band are the #1 thing “you need” this week, premiering a rousing, stripped down live performance of Montibello Memories standout “Southern Skies.”  MSN Music is streaming the full album in their “Listening Booth,” and Daytrotter has released a new session with the band.  Matrimony also announces more dates for their Spring U.S. tour, with 28 dates total.
Rolling Stone, NPR Mountain Stage, the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Paste, Billboard, CMT Edge and The Bluegrass Situation have already joined the list of outlets in the band’s corner as their story continues to build.

Fronted by husband and wife Jimmy Brown (vocals, guitar) and Ashlee Hardee Brown (vocals, keyboards), Matrimony is rounded out by Ashlee’s brothers Jordan Hardee (drums) and CJ Hardee (mandolin, banjo).  The family dynamic creates a deeply intuitive musical connection that can be heard on record and is even clearer during the band’s live shows.
