Loudwire has partnered up with the spirited wolf men, Man With A Mission to premiere their second EP,When My Devil Rises. Available everywhere digitally on June 10, 2014 the 4-song EP will be released via SONY/RED. When asked by the site to describe themselves and their music, the half wolf/half men made it clear, “First of all, we are Man With A Mission. We come from Japan. We have the head of a wolf and the body of a human being. We write songs that are about being yourself. Finding out who you are and believing in that. How to improve yourself, inside and out. Everyone has a mission for themselves in life. We have a mission as a band.” When asked what their mission was, the answer was simple, “If you want a hint at what that is, you have to listen to our music and come watch our shows.”
Fans can follow the band’s mission on the road this summer when they hit the States for a summer tour. A handful of dates have already been announced and they recently added additional shows to their already packed schedule. Kicking off their run at New York’s Studio at Webster Hall on June 18, the tour will take the band across the States hitting Philadelphia, Cleveland, St. Louis, Denver, LA, Anaheim and more. Two additional shows have been added in Racine on June 28 and Salt Lake City on July 5. Man With A Mission will also be supporting their critically acclaimed March release, Don’t Feel The Distance EP. These U.S. dates are the band’s first tour here, but they did make their way Stateside in 2013 for two showcases at The Roxy in Los Angeles and Highline Ballroom in New York, fascinating everyone in attendance. “These wolf-men took merely an instant to capture the undivided attention of everyone present inside this venue,” recognizedMetal Assault. Buzzfeed noted, “They put on an energetic live show and were unflappable joyous showmen,” and Examiner agreed, “Man With A Mission has solid musical chops. These guys may be just three years old, but their skills reveal the dedication of a lifetime.”
Together, Tokyo Tanaka (Vocals), Spear Rib (drums) Jean-Ken Johnny (Vocals/ Guitar/Rap), DJ Santa Monica (DJ/Sampling) and Kamikaze Boy (Bass//BV’s) are Man With A Mission.
