Electronic music phenom Madeon has released the official music video for “Pay No Mind” featuring Passion Pit today. Check out the video HERE. “Pay No Mind” is the latest track to be unleashed from Madeon’s upcoming debut album, Adventure, which is set for release on March 31st.
The video is the second installment of a trilogy focused on a young woman, Asteria, and a young man, Icarus. Set in a remote city, in an undefined future, Asteria is restless to see more of the outside world. She finds a friend in Icarus, who shares her desire of leaving.
The FADER premiered “Pay No Mind” last week to widespread praise, including Billboard who noted it as an “absurdly funky slice of electro pop that fits Michael Angelakos’s lilting vocals perfectly.” The track has already seen over 1.5 Million combined streams since its release last week and is currently #3 on Spotify’s U.S. viral chart. “Pay No Mind” is available now as an instant download to fans that pre-order the deluxe version of the album.
U.S. fans can catch Madeon on his first ever North American headlining tour, which kicks off April 10 in San Francisco with stops in major cities across the U.S. and Canada before wrapping on May 9 in Montreal – see full tour dates below. Tickets are available HERE.
