Mike Ragogna: What advice do you have for new artists?
Kiki Ebsen: “Never turn your back on enthusiasm”. This is something that my dad always told us always. He also had framed the following Calvin Coolidge quote and gave it to us all at an early age: “Press On. Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not, nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not, unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not, the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.”
