Chicago’s The Kickback spent most of 2014 on the road, touring the country and playing festivals such as Warmfest, Mile of Music, NXNE, AudioTree, CMJ and more. Next month they head back out with Born Cages & Dreamers for a month-long run that takes them down south to Savannah Stopover, through Nashville, Tulsa, Houston and San Antonio, before bringing them back up north through Omaha and Minneapolis, back through Chicago and heading east to Pittsburgh. The Kickback has received praise from Rolling Stone, Chicago Sun-Times, Paste, Consequence of Sound, You Ain’t No Picasso and more and may be the only band in the country to have their own Podcast.

DISASTOUR w/ The Kickback was created as a means for the group to kill some time during their 2010 tour and is nearing its 100th episode. Segments have included: “Most depressing moment of the day”, “How did the show go?”, “The Yost brothers read each other’s mind” and “If Michael Keaton were here right now”, along with interviews of house hosts and the occasional live performance.
