DUE TO OVERWHELMING DEMAND, ADDITIONAL DATES ON GROBAN’S UPCOMING STAGES TOUR ANNOUNCED IN NEW YORK CITY, LOS ANGELES, TORONTO, CHICAGO AND SAN FRANCISCO

TICKET PRE-SALES FOR ADDITIONAL SHOWS BEGIN TOMORROW

Stages, the new album from multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban is out today via Reprise Records. A week before it’s U.S. release, Stages shot to the top of the U.K. album chart, earning Groban his first No. 1 album there. Groban recently spent three weeks in Europe where he performed for the queen of Denmark, appeared on The Voice finale in France, and did a host of high-profile talk show appearances in England and Ireland.

Stages is a collection of some of the greatest musical theater songs of all time, which Groban describes as “gorgeously arranged songs that have stood the test of time,” and which he was drawn to because of their combination of “incredible melody with an incredible story.” An exclusive edition, featuring two extra tracks, is available at Target.

Earlier this month, Groban announced that he will launch a full-scale Fall 2015 North American tour in support of Stages. The tour, produced by Live Nation, begins on September 12th in Atlanta and continues through early November. Six additional shows have now been added, including second shows in New York City, Los Angeles, Toronto, Chicago and San Francisco. Tickets for previously announced dates on the tour are on sale now.  Pre-sale tickets for the additional six shows go on sale tomorrow, April 29th, at 10 am local time to Fan Club members, as well as to Citi® cardmembers through Citi’s Private Pass® Program. For complete pre-sale details, visit www.citiprivatepass.com.  Tickets go on-sale to the general public via www.livenation.com on Friday, May 1st at 10 am local time.

THE STAGES TOUR will visit specially selected theaters around the country, giving fans accustomed to seeing Groban perform in arenas (as he did on his 2013 “In The Round” and “All that Echoes” tours) a more uniquely intimate experience. With every ticket purchased online, fans will receive a choice of either a standard physical or a standard digital copy of Stages.

Groban will make several television appearances this week, including Good Morning America today, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Live! with Kelly and Michael tomorrow, and Dancing With The Stars on May 5th. He will also sing the National Anthem at the 2015 Kentucky Derby on May 2nd, appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on May 14th, and The Talk on May 19th.
