UNVEILS NEW TRACK “SHOOT & RUN”

Josef Salvat infiltrated the international musical landscape early last year in a way that made it feel like he’d always been a part of it. Quietly posting tracks like “This Life,” “Hustler” and “Every Night,” he seemed to collect influential fans without even trying.

Discerning tastemakers like Pitchfork, FADER, Disco Naivete and even Sunday Times began to sing his praises, as did specialist radio gurus from Radio 1 and 6 Music and XFM.

Now, following this initial support and several months traveling, writing and recording, Josef returns, with a brand new track called “Shoot & Run,” an EP that’s set for release September 7th and an album very near completion and due out next year.

Salvat’s intimate lyricism, distinct turn of phrase and dark melodies have already garnered him a Hypemachine #1 with “Hustler,” over 1.5 million Soundcloud plays and close to 1 million YouTube views. Now he gives us a taste of what’s to come on the In Your Prime EP with the expansive electro, swelling strings and booming percussion of “Shoot & Run.”
