Mike Ragogna: Hey, John, what is your advice for new artists?

John Wetton: Sticking on. Looking at my personal life, most of it is fairly tragic. If anybody wants to follow in my footsteps try and avoid the pitfalls that I’ve made. Don’t become an alcoholic, don’t get divorced. Stick to your guns. Whatever your beliefs are when you start out, stick to them. Don’t get carried around by the wind, just try and believe in yourself, even when nobody else does. That way you only have yourself to blame when it goes wrong. Don’t take other people’s advice is my advice.
